TRACEY TAWHIAO POETRY BLOG
Tena Koe this is my One Hundred Poems Blog. It’s a work in progress. I am still editing most of them. The quotes below are markers for that edit process.
Some of these poems have been published and some are just happening as I go along. It started off being 100 poems by christmas 2010 but its now 2012 and I am still four off the 100.
Once I do hit 100 I will re-post each poem. I am also quite blog useless but I do read my comments now that I have spam protection. I hope by the time I get to 100 I will have sorted out the technology. Kia Ora.
A poet’s work is to name the unnameable, to point at frauds, to take sides, start arguments, shape the world, and stop it going to sleep. Salman Rushdie
A true poet does not bother to be poetical. Nor does a nursery gardener scent his roses.Jean Cocteau
Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood.T. S. Eliot
