True Love is hard to Find

 

Write a poem about all the sad lonely people Trace

The ones who are still looking for their soul mates

The ones seeing their love in everyone they meet hoping

They are seeing it too.  It’s not hopeless; it’s not, not, not

 

Tell how they hide their fear of not being loveable

Of not seeing their own magnificence, measuring it instead

Comparing themselves to the ones that have it and asking why

Why them and not me.  I am smarter, prettier and better in bed

 

Tell how we see the love but feeling it is not as easy as leaving it

People are crying every day over it, dressing up for it, drugging it

I want this way to end to be over be gone dam spot be gone

Tell them Trace tell them how hard true love is to find.
